RENNtech SL 76 Mercedes-Benz 600SL
Mercedes-Benz 600 SL (R129) powered by RENNtech built 7.6 Liter V12 (M120) Performance Engine.
For the R129 Mercedes-Benz SL -class, the M120 V12 engine was delivered in two versions through its lifecycle. The early cars (1991 - 1995) were equipped with LH engine management and a 4-speed transmission, while later models were equipped by ME engine management and a 5-speed transmission.
Creating more power through bore and stroke, RENNtech increases the displacement from 6.0 -liters to either 7.4 or 7.6 liter specification. Additional engine upgrades include pistons, titanium connecting rods, performance camshafts, lifters, forged crankshaft, CNC head and intake manifold porting and high flow air inlets.
Power output for the 7.6 liter engine is up to 615 HP for the early cars (1991 - 1995) and up to 645 HP for the later (1996 - 2001) versions.
Each engine is built by hand at our head quarters in Stuart, FL, Dyno tested for power and road tested for performance - guaranteeing that our builds are reliable and the most powerful Mercedes-Benz SL 600 builds on the road.

This is not a sports car, it is a 600 SEL with more power, upgraded drivetrain, brakes, and handling to manage the increased power.

i lost interest in cars after owning an s600 w220 . al cars looks BS when i sold it and try to find a better car. but becouse of the gas prices i ended up in a nissan sunny lol. its a shame that governments around the world are fighting us to not make it practical to own such things

Same power for the W140 - power differences are between the LH and ME M120 V12 engines. (early vs. late model - yours is early)

What about brakes? All that added “go” needs added stopping power. Are those wheels big enough to fit up-rated brakes?
